I truly love the Hill Country near Austin with its splendor and wildlife beauty. This scene is of Crabapple Creek near Junction, Texas, where I fly fish. I was inspired to paint this scene because of its tranquility and the vast openness of sky and nature, an escape into the stillness of life.
